🚀 What Drives Me
- Language Preservation: Technology should help preserve cultural heritage, not just consume it. I'm passionate about helping Punjabi speakers digitalize their languages properly.
- Open Source: Free, transparent, and community-driven software is the future. All my projects are open-source so others can learn, verify, and contribute.
- User Experience: Code is only valuable if people can use it. I focus on accessibility, simplicity, and thoughtful design.
- Practical Solutions: I build tools for real problems. Every project solves something that matters to me and hopefully to you too.
📌 About Punjabi Font Converter
Why I Built This Tool
Many Punjabi documents were created in the 90s and 2000s using legacy fonts like Asees and Anmol. While these fonts worked at the time, they weren't Unicode-compliant, making text unsearchable and incompatible with modern systems.
I created the Punjabi Font Converter to:
- Help preserve valuable Punjabi documents by converting them to proper Unicode
- Make conversion quick and easy with just one click
- Ensure privacy by processing everything locally, never sending data to servers
- Provide a free, open-source solution accessible to everyone
🔠My Philosophy
Simple is powerful. Complex problems often need simple solutions. I believe in writing code that's:
- Easy to understand and maintain
- Privacy-first (minimal permissions, local processing)
- Transparent (open-source, no hidden tracking)
- Accessible to all users, regardless of technical skill
🌠Beyond Code
When I'm not coding, you'll find me:
- Contributing to open-source projects
- Learning about web technologies and best practices
- Exploring ways technology can help preserve cultural languages
- Building tools that make people's lives easier
